I thought about specific areas of contact, but in the end it seemed like people have enough difficulty remembering names and that the likelihood of remembering what their profession is...isn't high. You're more likely to go oh I remember [insert name] than I remember this guy who worked part time in the zoo but specialized in heart surgery and had a volunteer job at Place C....so yeah.
This is just the people I have or who dropped their numbers. If you don't want it here or changed your mind, just let me know. I'll fix it at some point.
( Phone Book Draft One or What Happens When Geeks Have Too Much Time )
And now I'm headed out. Leave notes for changes like I said. I'll get to them.
I didn't think you could ever miss being yourself. Funny how things work out.
Oh and almost forgot:
( OOC note, tl;dr as per usual. )

That? Is a phone book.
I think we could use one.
Basically it would be exactly what you know or think it is--you know, numbers available to the City public. That's your warning. Taking that into consideration, if you're still interested, drop a line with your number or the POST-ID for your NETWORK-CONTACT (for the people who just use the device instead of a cell phone or whatever else is out there) and your name.
If you're not, obviously it's not a requirement. I just figured it might be useful.
And just one:
[ooc: Okay so basically you can make up a number for the cell phone or just link the post and call it a number, whatever you want. He really IS going to try to compile any and all that are commented with here. Please specify if it's a PHONE or if it is, as he calls it their POST-ID----aka, a Network form of contact always available to...whoever knows that ID, specific to that particular entry. Whew. TL;DR Uh...yes.]

I never liked the circus.
Anyway, summer's pretty much on top of us. Considering how many worlds are represented here, I was wondering if everyone's actually familiar with "summer"---the warmest season or part of the year, sometimes littered with thunderstorms or hurricanes or whatever, or just really, really hot. And if you are, if there's anything you do usually? Some people go to the beach. Others go camping or to exotic places in their worlds---vacations. And some people don't do anything differently, as in, anything----and that's mostly for us hermit types I guess who are happy playing video games 24/7.
Personally I prefer fall, but you know, to each his own, blah, blah, blahblahblah, blah.

I've come to the conclusion that it is entirely likely that I'll spend my days when I'm "grown-up" doing a lot of the same things I do now. Funny how that works out.

So I owe a lot of music and stuff....what stuff is even I probably forgot by now so if it's something you remember, let me know. Anyway, not much to say, so that's all this entry is for. If you're not interested, move along. It's not here for you to share your opinions with me, it's just here to take if you want to.
My warning being it's a randomized selection of stuff I've basically pirated off the network, so no running theme---a mixed bag basically, so listen at your own risk, blah, blah, blah, you know. Okay so:
Lovers Who Uncover || The Little OnesThis is ONE good thing about this place, I'll admit...since I can take all the music I want and not feel bad about it, since there's no way to pay them from here anyway.
Sonnet 29 || Rufus Wainwright (er...Shakespeare's obviously but, that's the guy singing anyway)
Koop Island Blues || Koop
You're The Storm || The Cardigans
In the Aeroplane over the Sea || Neutral Milk Hotel
The Trapeze Swinger || Iron and Wine
Be Gentle with Me || Boy Least Likely To
Can't Believe a Single Word || VHSorBETA
Your Biggest Fan || Voxtrot

For once, it's a guy you can rely on. If you care for anything, even the well being of your friends, and I think most people who are decent do, go vote for him. He will do everything in his power to manage things in a really good way. I know he will. I'm speaking as a friend, nothing fancy here, but I'm serious. You think your vote doesn't count? You're wrong and that's a stupid reason to not vote. It just means you're lazy, and if I'M calling you lazy that's just sad. I owe music. I'm going to keep it under tabs and offer up 5 songs next time. Right now you should be voting anyway. They don't give you a lot of power right? So use the power you've got. ANYONE can vote. So don't waste it.
I think that's my most serious post, ever. Worthy cause.

Okay no. Bad topic.
Death isn't a joke, but I'm not afraid of it either. I wonder if the deities chose that kind of curse because they were unusually bored? As if life and death are that basic. Anyway, maybe this should be considered normal shenanigans by now. But maybe there isn't any real version of 'normal', since what's normal to them obviously isn't normal to us.
The only consistent thing is that none of it makes sense and none if lasts. But all things considered, even with what just happened, I don't think this place has to be as bad as some people think it is or keep saying it is. There are good things. It's not easy but whose life was all that easy back home? I mean, I'm sure there's someone, but seriously? It could be so much worse.
Yeah I know I've said that before.
On a more materialistic note, I lost my DS Lite. I don't know how, but that's probably why it's lost in the first place. Yeah. So if you come across a generic white one with a manatee sticker and a Triforce sticker on it, let me know? Thanks.
PS. VOLCANO tacos are RIDICULOUS.

Yay a new job.
Anyway, it's that time. Well no, it's not. THAT time is usually like, three in the morning when you're ridiculously bored and have nothing else to do but ask ambiguous questions. Sooooo...I'm early? Or something. And I'm curious.
We're all from different places so I figure the answers might be interesting. You have to pick five things
What are they? It can be less if you can't think of five things.
Oh, and not people. Obviously people aren't things. Duh.

I still don't get anti-valentine's day. Why "anti" Valentine's day?
Not that important.
As usual, offering codes to those in need. Some of you could really use them. Filters. Seriously.
Anyway, try to have a good day. You don't have to be romantically involved with someone to appreciate something about it. Guess that's all except that I decided I'll be including a song every network entry I make from now on. So, yeah.

RE: curse days when you freak out and need help from a friend? Like, I don't know, borrowing clothes? Okay but could you wake us up after sunrise? Just a request for future freak-outs.
RE: what to do if you have one day left to live? Whatever you want.
RE: swords and stuff....rain check?
Oh and one more thing, I've been seeing a lot of crappy coding around the network. Don't let this happen to you. Or uh, you can let it happen, but seriously, if you want solid codes for filters, just ask someone. Trial and error with your big secrets proooobably isn't what you want to aim for.
